Yemen LNG has a planned life span of over 20 years and employs a core workforce of over 700 employees at the headquarters in Sana’a and at the LNG terminal at Balhaf, Shabwa Governorate. Regular vacancies however arise each year in different areas of specialization.

Yemen LNG recruits its workforce in accordance with the principles of the Gas Development Agreement which governs its existence, and in accordance with Yemen’s Labour Law. Priority is given at all times to male and female Yemeni nationals. The Company's recruitment process aims to efficiently identify qualified candidates on the basis of fairness and transparency.
The day-to-day working language of the Company is English, and all applicants to Yemen LNG Company are expected to possess a satisfactory working knowledge of the language. Strongly developed Information Technology (IT) skills are also a distinct advantage.
